On the 13th June I attended the Google Engage Masterclass at Federation Square. We were invited by Google to attend this event as Syneka Marketing is a Google AdWords partner.
Google provided us with the latest insights and developments in AdWords. Google is currently the most popular search engine in Australia. AdWords are a powerful online marketing tool that enables a website to achieve higher rankings on Google search results.
Google had a range of speakers and panellists who spoke about their approach to sales and how they attained new work. There are limited opportunities for agencies to share knowledge and it was useful to network with key players from other agencies.
I also gained insights into multi-screen devices; a research project in which Google investigated how Australians are using more than one electronic device at the same time. I consistently use my mobile phone and laptop simultaneously and it was interesting to see there are many people who also do the same thing.
Google Engage was definitely worth attending and it was great to gain further insights into Adwords and Search Engine Optimisation.
