January is Rotary Awareness Month, with Clubs considering the tools they can use to raise the profile of the organisation. Today’s RotaryChat considered the topic of Rotary Awareness Month and the target markets that Rotary should be attracting.
Rotary, like many other not-for-profit organisations needs to consider how it communicates and markets itself to prospective and current members, as well as other stakeholders. Rotary needs to strengthen its marketing to define its target markets and to maintain relevancy into the future. Clubs need to develop a marketing approach that considers a range of communication tools to attract members.
