Syneka Marketing provided technical expertise to the Community Business Catalyst Network on the development and deployment of a new portal designed to stimulate business and community partnerships.
Syneka’s contribution has been recognised in a case study on the portal, which was launched at the Eastern Volunteers Business Booster Breakfast:
The Community Business Catalyst Network is a partnership consisting of Maroondah City Council, Eastern Volunteers, Irabina Childhood Autism Services, Melba Support Services and the Monkami Centre. The partnership aims to develop mutually valuable partnerships between businesses and community organisations.
Syneka is a marketing agency that provides strategic marketing services and website development for businesses and the not-for-profit sector.
How did you partner together?
Syneka was approached to provide a conceptual design for a website to promote the Community Business Partnership. Syneka worked with the partners to develop a framework for the website aimed at promoting case studies encouraging further partnerships.
The website was also designed to feature a directory of community organisations that have undergone training on establishing mutually valuable partnerships. The conceptual design enabled Maroondah City Council to include the Business Community Partnership content on its website.
What have been the benefits of this relationship?
The partnership enabled the group to focus on the elements that are required for the website through a collaborative process. Partners were able to identify the pages and content required and Syneka provided a web-based prototype.
Syneka benefited through further contact with not-for-profit organisations.
Why the partnership works well
The partnership with Syneka led to the successful deployment of the Community Business Catalyst portal, which will serve as a focal point for partnerships between community organisations and businesses.
The Community Business Partnership Portal is available at www.maroondah.vic.gov.au/CBP.aspx
Great site, never knew a website could change the perspective of business, I like it!
Kelvin, thank you for your comments. The Community Business Partnership Portal definitely has the ability to demonstrate the value in partnerships between businesses and community organisations. The project was definitely worthwhile and has already led to several partnerships.
